Appearance[]
Hikari has short hair that almost reach her shoulders. Her locks almost covers her gigantic ears. A pink tie holds a few pieces of the brown-purple gradient hair on the left.
She's a bit shorter than other members, but that isn't her main concern; it's the fat she gains when spoiling herself with sweets.
Hikari's choice of clothing is usually something cute and/or comfortable. She changes her look from week to week to see which types of clothes she would like to buy and wear more often.
Personality[]
Throughout her time in the idol group, Hikarin's personality has changed drastically. Because she was going to meet new faces, the girl refrained from acting the way she was under her parents' rule: overly ambitious and a tomboy. Although, when learning not all members were like their stage personas, Hikarin slowly let that side of her show; yet at the same time, she was searching for who she was.
Being exposed to a more feminine setting, Hikari grew cute and bubbly. During this period, she didn't know what successor she desired, and so she continued trying new things.
As she came closer to 14 - and becoming a senior to look up to - Hikarin yearned to be tranquil and patient. Although at times, those qualities were forgotten. She also wanted to depict a mannerly attitude to motivate not only herself, but others that whether you win or lose, you get what you get and shouldn't throw a fit. However, her jealousy and bad-sportsmanship were portrayed countless times.

Hikari grew up in a family of four, impulsive people. They were ambitious; anything they’d do was a competition. It was imperative to be the best, even if it meant you overworked yourself or others hated you for it.
The family was quite wealthy; the income primarily resulting from her father’s years in the Armed Forces, her sister - only several years older - dabbling in the same métier, and her mother negotiating with the law. Her and her brother, still ‘undecided’, were convinced that they’d have to follow similar career paths. However, though she didn’t know what it was, Hikarin felt that there was much more out there she had yet to discover. And coincidentally, ‘what’ wasn’t that far away.
She was groomed to be ‘hoyden’, in the sense that she’d dress up as according to her male peers. The whole purpose was for people to not look down on her, and that she was more than capable of doing exceptional things. She was just as strong, smart, and independent. (‘Till this day, these character traits still influence her.) Most of her friends were guys. Competitive. Rough. Everyday, she was more than likely to come home with a few bruises here and there, but her family never saw it negatively. In fact, they embraced it.
Comments comparing her to other girls - ‘girly girls’ - made her feel special, and a little sickened by that stereotype; but part of her wanted to experience that side. To be able to show some femininity, to be able to let her hair grow out, to be able to let herself go. But her family nor her friends wanted that. And what they didn’t want, she didn’t either.
She developed her first crush with one of her friends, and they so happened to share mutual feelings. Though they were still at a young age, the two promised that they’d be with each other forever.

Being on Akibastar meant that she was prone to entertainment. Not to her family’s liking, but Hikari couldn’t help herself from getting drawn in by 00’s light. She didn’t notice it sooner, but one day, she saw hearts in her eyes.
It wasn’t easy telling her parents something they didn’t like, and when she did, they practically threw a fit. While childish, they had somewhat of a manipulative tone in their voices. Had she realized sooner, she’d be long gone. When she told her crush, Suzuki, he too was surprised. Numerous times has he mentioned he hated girls in frilly dresses; it sickened him. With the both of them very opinionated - stubborn as all get out - Suzuki ended up leaving.
Her brother was merely a toddler, so leaving him with her parents may cause them to look out for him more often. She’d sneak out at dark, pursuing her own path.
At the audition, she auditioned with the first song she had heard from 00: “Sayonara Crawl.” Her practice was limited, being that she couldn’t let anyone catch her. To her surprise, Hikari found out she had a good voice, and she could dance; since she was trained to not let nerves get the best of her, she was pretty stable in her performance. Fortunately, she was welcomed into AKB0048.
She debuted on the day of Chiyo's, now known as the 11th Sasshi, transformation along with her fellow generation trainee, Akiba Airi. They performed and centered together Cinderella wa doko ni itta?, a special song released with the new era's album, Setsuzoku no Chain wa sudeni Koko ni Aru. Soon after, another succession concert occurred, and once again - having no big role - Hikarin participated. Kouhaku was also another event that she gladly part of; even so, her team had lost, bringing a little sense of grief.

She participated in her first Jyanken Taikai and placed ninth, losing to AKB's notorious gorilla. However, she quickly got over it and enjoyed Castle of Glass. With it came a coupling track she centered alone, a song called Survivor. One of her fellow Kenkyuuseis, moreover her Senpai, caught a fever and later became a successor. She congratulated the newly successor, yet she couldn't stop longing the day she would succeed.
Hikarin claimed 17th in the preliminary round of the SC0125 Sousenkyo. It wasn't all that bad - at the same time, she felt guilty of being the only active 153.5th generation - but compared to the one who placed higher than her, the gap bothered her. Though when the final round came, Hikarin had surpassed the successor that was in front of her, and got the chance to be in her very first Sousenkyo Senbatsu.
The 154th generation joined the group, and thus, she became a Senpai. Vowing to become a good figure, she also tried to befriend her juniors. Along with the first episode of the 154th Generation Series, the revealing of 00's next single, Kinou no Teki wa Mirai no Nakama, commenced. Hikarin stood as a front girl, though she wasn't labeled as such. Nevertheless, she was happy for her and her fellow Kenkyuusei, Miyo, for getting the center position. On September 26th, Hikarin released her first solo single, beginning her solo career began. Following, Alisa succeeded, and then the release of Kino happened. Akarin, someone who she considers as a rival, succeeded; but it was not a name anyone would've thought of. While she does have Tomomo to worry about, she felt more at ease. Needless to say, the trainee enjoyed Techi's succession concert.

A new year, meaning a new Hikari. With the release of Mada Tsuki ga Hikaritai, the idol's schedule had began to get packed. In this year's Jyanken, she managed to place 11th. She stayed in the game longer, but her placement dropped. A Team Shuffle was also set in stone following the event, and Hatsune was placed into Team K with a few of her Oshimens. One of her Kouhai's succeeded, and a bit of Hikarin's jealousy slipped out. However, she did enjoy the concert and was happy to see the new co-captain of Team A in action.
The member was chosen as center for this year's voting single. It brought her great pleasure, but she had no idea of what the center role for a single actually meant. However, her happiness was brought to grief when Miyagi was found hurt. After a few days, she died. Except, she didn't. The idol, who achieved Mayuyu, succeeded along with Honoka, or now known as the 8th Jurina. (Although, when Jurina joked about being the next Yuko, Hikarin was devastated.) The unlucky idol's thoughts on succession was that Miyaya was reincarnated into a new person, not the same Miya she knew. Following this historic event, Hikarin also released another single that goes against Mayuyu's.
The Preliminary Round shocked the idol, as she ranked 24th. Thus, this made her, to her dismay, Undergirls. Unlike last year's prelims, her votes went up to 3 Million, however her placement decreased. She hopes to increase her rank and at least make Senbatsu.
Once again, someone announced (as a joke) that they had succeed Yuko, which made Hikarin fall. Hikarin joined Pentagram in the Unit Takai, but sadly lost in the first round. Regardless, she was happy to perform Red Flavor.
