"Alright." Hikari looked out over the many faces of the newest batch of hopefuls. "I assume you all are at a loss for ideas when it comes to what the second round of the audition is about, and that is reasonable, for it is a well guarded secret of AKB0048's. I'll also take this opportunity to tell you that we change the second round every so often." Her lips curled slightly upwards at the perplexed faces of the auditioners. "This year, the theme of the audition is River."
Several confused mumbles sounded in the room. The second round of the auditions wasn't supposed to be a song, wasn't it? That was the only information that had been in the acceptance messages along with the E-tickets.
"Now," Hikari said, "quiet down, will you. We do not have much time, and if I were in your place, I'd make the most of it." Eventual mumbles, whispers and chattering immediately quieted down. "Good. The theme this year, as I said, is River. But that does not mean that you'll be preforming in any way. In a week, 00 will hold a guerilla live on this planet." A hologram popped up behind her of a slowly spinning orange-coloured planet. By the looks of it, it was a desert-planet, and as such, a hot climate. "The 150th Generation understudies, along with Mariko, will preform. River will be the encore. Now, your role in all this? You're going to make sure that River is successfully performed. In other words; You're going to be on guard towards the DES that reside on this planet, meaning that you'll, in all likelyhood, have to battle them." Here, Hikari had to pause, due to the outrage of disbelieving cries.
"Yes, that is the task you'll have to do," she said sternly. " Of course, we will not force anyone to do this, however, everyone who does not do this simple task, will be failed immediately. 00 needs members that are convicted, capable and can defend themselves. Everyone who has a complaint can come to me after we're done here, and in two hours, everyone who does not want to partake in the second round of the auditions will be sent back to the venue in a shuttle, and then be sent home. In the remaining week until the concert begins, you'll undergo the training that, if you listen and train well, will be more than enough to help you pass. Any questions?"
